The Department of Health, which governs how dentistry is practiced in Abu Dhabi, announced at the beginning of 2023 (effective immediately) that only those who are qualified and have the special license to place dental implants will be able to do so.

We are proud to share that Dr. Edouard Choufani, currently the only Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) in the U.A.E, applied for and was granted this license shortly after the new law was passed and continues to practice implant dentistry in 2023.
